Priority Review Vouchers
- To offer incentives for tropical disease research, the FDA will accelerate drug application review by seven months AND provide the researching company a tradable voucher for similar priority review for a second non-tropical disease drug
- This provides an estimated benefit to a Big Pharma of between $1.5 billion to $5 billion over the lifetime of the drug and sets a floor value of a drug at $300 million (NPV) and effectively gives Upstream a US market for our drug research.
